Jeff and I had our last dinner with Grandma Leta at Casa tonight. Â It was bittersweet. Â She is heading up to Montana for a few months since she cannot be home alone anymore after her stroke earlier this year. Â Jeff and I don’t like it at all, but there’s no choice. Â Aunt Mickie is her next of kin and she lives in Montana so it was the most logical choice at this point. Â Grandma is turning 101 in about 2 weeks and it’s unbelievable. Â I’m just afraid that tonight was the last time we’ll see her. ð Â Mickie said they will bring her back home after Christmas so she can see everyone if it’s possible.
We will be heading to her house in the morning to see them off at 8 am. It will be a very long drive for them. Normally it takes Mickie and Jay 2 days to drive, but this may take 3 days due to Grandma.
