Oh boy, he HAD to go with us to pick up Ashton. When I stepped out of the backdoor, he was right there – ready to go at the gate. So, I opened up the gate and he went right to the car door and sat down! He sure like to go for a ride!! I’m going to have to find some harness to hook him up to the seatbelt for future rides to protect him.
He is still struggling a bit being the lone dog. I cannot believe it’s been almost a month since Dozer passed 🙁 I miss that old man dog terribly! It doesn’t feel the same at all. The house is quiet without his constant demands for treats. At least he is not suffering anymore and is running around the big meadow with Daisy and waiting for us to meet them.
