when do you know?

When do you know it’s time to walk away from something?

I’ve struggled with that question for a while. But in the last two weeks, I came to a realization — I had already walked away a long time ago.

Yes, it makes me sad. But at the same time, I think I always knew it was going to happen eventually. I’ve simply outgrown that part of my life journey.

Life is made up of many journeys across different areas — personal, professional, and everything in between. Only the Big Man knows what’s waiting at the end of the road. All we can do is trust that there’s a bigger picture, even when we don’t fully understand it.

I’ve always believed that everything happens for a reason, whether we see it or not. I know that belief drives some people crazy, but when you really look back at life, it’s hard to ignore.

But I’ve also learned something else…

Not everyone is meant to walk the entire journey with you.

Some people are only there for a season — and sometimes, that season ends when growth begins.

And sometimes, the hardest part isn’t walking away…
it’s accepting that you already have.

Because walking away doesn’t always mean something broke —
sometimes it just means you finally chose yourself.

And that’s not loss.
